چکیده

A standard resin system used in wood-based panel preparation was formaldehyde-based glue, which believed to have fatal effects on the environment and human health due release of free formaldehyde. Therefore, study's objective evaluate physical mechanical properties experimental plywood made using glutardialdehyde-modified starch as an environmentally friendly binder. Two gelatinization methods were used: sodium hydroxide (NaOH) hot water. Plywood manufactured modified with 10, 20, 30% glutardialdehyde. The testing revealed that density value around 0.34 0.38 g/cm3, moisture content ranged between 19.34 23.67%, water absorption 24.56 71.60%, thickness swelling 1.18 7.27%. It found NaOH-gelatinized binder has higher lower content, are advantages for this composite type. In testing, it glutardialdehyde overall strength than water-gelatinized binder, measured by their bending tensile shear strength. MOR values range from 124.88 179.32 N/mm2, MOE 8027.50 10603.90 651.64 1385.16 N/mm2. highest glutardialdehyde: ratio, is based weight starch, showed better properties. results could be alternative manufacturing.

Environmentally Friendly Supplier Selection Using Prospect Theory

This paper proposes an optimal selection method to address the real-world problem of environmentally friendly supplier selection, based on prospect theory. This study adopted the manufacturer’s point of view, and considered the manufacturer’s psychological and behavioral factors in the process of choosing suppliers. The first step was to build supplier-selection indexes for manufacturers. Then,...

" Environmentally Friendly " Way!

We discuss how to implement an " environmentally friendly " renormalization in the context of finite temperature field theory. Environmentally friendly renormalization provides a method for interpolating between the different effective field theories which characterize different asymptotic regimes. We give explicit two loop Padé resummed results for λφ 4 theory for T > T c. We examine the impli...
